Every Trick's A Good One

Not familiar with bands from the Atlanta area let alone female fronted? Neither are we, but you have to check out Elizabeth Elkins fronted band,The Swear from Atlanta, Georgia! There is something about this band that gives punkrockchickbands.com an extremely good first impression from their musical talent and their bands history.

The Swear have had many accomplishments since they formed in 2004. Numerous successful shows in the Atlanta area (Vans Warped Tour, Atlanta’s Music Midtown, and Atlanta Dogwood Festival), featured on 2005 compilation CDs(Alternative Addiction Vol. 6 and Miller Lite-99X Taste Rock Vol.2), radio play on (FMQB’s Top 20 and The Album Network), endorsed by (Gretsch Guitars, GHS Strings, DiMarzio Pick-ups, Pork Pie Drums, Pro-mark Drumsticks, and Meinl Cymbals), recently the track, “Last Breath” featuredon the FOX television show “The Reunion” and a few other tracks featuredon The WB, ABC, TNT, The Discovery Channel, and MTV.

“Every Trick’s A Good One” features 6 powerful upbeat punk-rock tracks produced by Russ-T Cobb at Butch Walker’s Ruby Red Productions and mastered by Howie Weinberg. The band proves that they were meant to be together creating remarkable tunes like these on “Every Trick’s A Good One”.

Elizabeth’s vocals and song writing is astonishing especially on Letters Faded, The Sleep Inside, and January. Jeremy Zamora’s guitar riffs truly add to the bands sound presenting his unique talent. Kevin Williams incorporates his bass playing abilities on Letters Faded, The Sleep Inside, List, and Chicago. Kent Aberle rocks out on his drums throughout the 6 tracks keeping matchless beats and smashing the crap out of his cymbals giving fans a big boot in the ass.

First impressions are always important for a band and The Swear have a great first impression with their debut CD, “Every Trick’s A Good One”. By far the best female fronted band in Atlanta!
