Tracy DeLucia "In The Moment" CD Review

Tracy DeLucia

Tracy DeLucia

4 Stars

Tracy DeLucia's latest album "In The Moment" leaves no doubt in the listeners mind of why she was selected as a winner in January 2006's round of the "Song Of The Year" song and lyric competition. Not only an accomplished and polished songwriter she has the voice to deliver the tunes she pens!

Tracy’s vocal abilities have been compared to rock icons Melissa Etheridge and Linda Ronstadt, but I also detected the country feel with some Terri Clark and Gretchen Wilson influences most prominent.

Tracy's song "A Girl's Night Out" could easily be sitting at the top of the country charts right now! The song makes you want to crank up the volume and leave it there for the entire album.

And we could all learn from Tracy's song "Live In The Moment" and "Learning" is another gem, both tracks showcasing Tracy's lyrical mastery. "Miracles Begin" is the anthem to every wanna- be performer. All of us have believed the hairbrush or mop handle was a microphone in our hand and stood in front of our mirrors singing our favorite tunes hoping someday to have our dreams come true and Tracy captures that moment perfectly in this track.

When Tracy sings "I Need You" you really believe she does need someone but in reality Tracy doesn't need anyone. Rest assured, this singer/songwriter has got the talent to call her own destiny with no problems at all.

If your in the mood to roll down your car windows and hit the cruise control have a listen to Tracy's "That Was Yesterday." This song could find itself sitting high on the pop chart as well, it's a feel good song and it kicks! Tracy DeLucia’s "In The Moment" leaves you waiting to get your hands and ears on her next release! Don't bother taking it out of your CD player, don't worry you won't get tired of hearing it again and again and again..

Great album Tracy!!! Rock On!!
