Leanne Binder: Contender Indie Rock, Alternative
Biography
Leanne Binder is a classically trained vocalist/songwriter hailing from Youngstown OH.
Leanne was accepted into Youngstown State's Dana School of Music for voice lessons at the age of 13 and majored in opera/performance in college.
Since then she has been fronting bands and performing as a solo and duo act. To date she has recieved airplay in 12 countries and has charted on CMJ's charts as well.
Along with receiving airplay in the US & internationally, she has played all over the United States and has booked 2 international tours playing the Great Rythm and Blues Festival in Colne UK , the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool England and was a featured artist on the BBC in Wales locking up the BBC's phone lines in the studio with requests as she was performing!
Leanne has 2 full length CD's to her credit, and is currently in the studio recording her 3rd due to drop this summer and is in the process of booking some summer tour dates.
Leanne also plays a varitey of instruments including, guitar, piano, B3, tenor sax, clarinet, harmonica.
